We probably won’t do the the things you are used to, we think we do them a bit different. We are here to – and we just might – disrupt the munching biz. It’s gonna get boring!

HOW IT BEGAN…

So the story goes like this. Back in early 2022, The Admiral had a vision, or he was just high on some magic shrooms. It was about a year or ten – da fuck do I know, time moves different here – of being in the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC). The Admiral felt like doing something for the culture.
His dream was about bridging a gap and stuff, uniting physical and digital realms in harmony.
While we often move in both domains, they are separate. Anyways, what we’re trying to say is that The Admiral came to a realization that the upcoming digital era would require a kitchen
of its own. The idea was simple yet ingenious; why not create a culinary haven to cater all them degens stuck on the blockchain rollercoaster?

Ghost kitchen

However, every grand vision begins with a small step. And that first stride led to the establishment of a virtual (yeah bro I know it’s real, it’s like a pun or play of words, laugh will ya!) kitchen, a ‘ghost kitchen’, rooted in Sweden. It was supposed to be dedicated to serving people in their homes. That was how Bored Kitchen came into existence.

I had to look it up, but apparently the concept of a ghost kitchen, sometimes referred to as a virtual, ghost, or cloud kitchen, “blends technology with culinary expertise to offer a wide array of cuisines without the need for a traditional dine-in setting”. The Admiral is fancy with words, I know, I’m just tryin’ to tell the story man. So the focus here is on cooking for takeaway or delivery.

Fast forward to November 2023, and the first food joint of this groundbreaking concept was open for business – Bored Burgers.
